I'd rather you ask these now than quietly talk yourself out of something that could actually change things.

A lot of them are. Go look at my channel - five-plus years of consistent, public content. Watch the student testimonial on this page. If you're still not sold after that, don't apply.
The content principles that grow a channel work the same whether you're in Bangkok or Ohio. Niche clarity, consistency, and understanding your audience. My Thailand content was the vehicle. Yours will be different. The system is the same.
The information exists for free. What free tutorials can't do is look at your specific content, tell you what's wrong, and hold you accountable. If free content was going to get you there, you'd be there already.
Most people in the mentorship work full-time. You'll need roughly 5 to 10 hours a week. That's less time than most people spend scrolling.
